Voter fraud and voter ID

So last night Jon Stewart weighed in on the issue of voter fraud and voter ID.  His view is clear (as you will see).  But should voters be required to produce any former of identification when they go to vote?  Watch the video, complete the poll, and add a comment if you feel so compelled.

If voter ID is required to vote, getting an ID should be free for all citizens. It cannot be assumed that all Americans can spend the extra money on a government issued ID.

In our government, the Constitution does not guarentee the right to vote. But apprently tha is not the real problem; voter fraud is the “problem” (only 10 cases in 12 years) I don’t find this to be a financial issue but an issue of Republican politicians attemping to stop minorities and the elderly from voting for Obama (minorities and the elderly are the groups that are discriminated against by this law). Republican leaders were even contradicted by Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Mike Turzai admitted “Voter ID, which is going to allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.” Its just unfortunate that campaigns are now trying to stop people from voting.
